Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Constantin Hrebenciuc kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute, Gabriel Udrea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Măguran was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Gabriel Udrea managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Baia Mare's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Udrea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Măguran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eduard Diaconu scored 2-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Măguran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vali Bărnuțiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Gabriel Măguran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Adrian Lițiu came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Burlug fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Lițiu couldn't finish the play. If Gabriel Udrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Adrian Lițiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Baia Mare's Cosmin Spirea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantin Hrebenciuc in the 27th minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, FC Baia Mare's Gabriel Udrea made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Măguran was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Eduard Diaconu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Eduard Diaconu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Adrian Lițiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cosmin Spirea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adrian Lițiu ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Constantin Hrebenciuc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burlug's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantin Hrebenciuc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduard Diaconu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adrian Lițiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosmin Spirea having to interfere. In the 54th match minute, Burlug was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radu Buteanu to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Măguran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Udrea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduard Diaconu in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Măguran saved Burlug from getting behind. The FC Baia Mare fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when FC Baia Mare's Eduard Diaconu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 70 minutes, Gabriel Udrea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Baia Mare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Udrea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st match minute, Burlug was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurențiu Văduva to maneuver through the defense. Eduard Diaconu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Măguran having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vali Bărnuțiu during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vali Bărnuțiu hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Gabriel Udrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laurențiu Văduva lost his temper 81 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for FC Baia Mare. Doru Panescu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gabriel Măguran. 5-2. After 86 minutes, Eduard Diaconu made it 6-2 with a short kick to the right side. Burlug's Gabriel Măguran tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Baia Mare's Gabriel Udrea got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horia Neagoe charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horia Neagoe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FC Baia Mare's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
