An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Udrea in the 3rd minute of play forced Antocenii UFC's goalkeeper Iosif Şendrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6thth minute of the game Gabriel Udrea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Antocenii UFC's Iosif Şendrea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gabriel Udrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Iosif Şendrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iosif Şendrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Diaconu in the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Antocenii UFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Gigel Novac hit a great ball. In the 20th minute Gabriel Udrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iosif Şendrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 minutes, Gigel Novac mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Antocenii UFC and the FC Baia Mare players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Gabriel Udrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Antocenii UFC's Daniel Ghițulescu got a free kick in the 31st minute. 31 minutes into the match, FC Baia Mare's Doru Panescu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Antocenii UFC's Iosif Şendrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Diaconu in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of FC Baia Mare booed when Antocenii UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Ghițulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iosif Şendrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Diaconu in the 38th minute of the match. Iosif Şendrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Gugea, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The supporters of FC Baia Mare booed when Antocenii UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiberiu Cioiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduard Diaconu made a kick off. Iosif Şendrea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Udrea's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Iosif Şendrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Eduard Diaconu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Baia Mare's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Antocenii UFC the free kick. The supporters of Antocenii UFC booed when FC Baia Mare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Diaconu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dacian Nasta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Cosmin Spirea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eduard Diaconu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Udrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Şendrea having to interfere. The long shot by Vali Pancu in the 73rd minute really tested Iosif Şendrea's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 74 minutes into the match, Antocenii UFC's goalkeeper Iosif Şendrea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Udrea. FC Baia Mare's Cosmin Spirea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dacian Nasta in the 76th minute of play. Cosmin Spirea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dacian Nasta went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 85 minutes into the match, Antocenii UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Diaconu came free, but Iosif Şendrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Gabriel Udrea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Baia Mare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Udrea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Antocenii UFC's zone, Eduard Diaconu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iosif Şendrea came out of the goal and Eduard Diaconu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to FC Baia Mare getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Nichifor Gugea hit a great ball. Antocenii UFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Baia Mare for a fine match.
