The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cazimir Hârtopanu was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Gabriel Udrea managed to get in a good position for a shot. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cosmin Spirea. In the 77th minute, Marin Râmniceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Udrea kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cazimir Hârtopanu in the 79th minute of play forced FC Baia Mare's goalkeeper Cosmin Spirea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Hurduci booed when FC Baia Mare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vali Bărnuțiu didn't get a good kick on the ball.
