Horea Pescaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 13th play minutes Șerban Voica shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Horea Pescaru and just under the crossbar into goal. Dinu Murgan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vasile Jurăscu went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 27th play minutes Iulian Vârjean shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Horea Pescaru and just under the crossbar into goal. Horea Pescaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Șerban Voica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinu Murgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasile Jurăscu in the 35th minute of the match. Iulian Vârjean struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Horea Pescaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laza. After 43 minutes of play, Laza's Șerban Voica made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horea Pescaru was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The wind increased when Vasile Jurăscu made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Rapiduletu's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Bala came free, but Horea Pescaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horea Pescaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Șerban Voica in the 56th minute of the match. Laza's Dinu Murgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Jurăscu in the 59th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Iulian Vârjean got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 63 played minutes Rapiduletu got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Curteanu. Laza's Ion Ghișerel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 64th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Horea Pescaru but with some difficulty. When Daniel Bala fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laza's protests and gave Daniel Bala a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rapiduletu booed when Laza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Bala didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Vlad Stoian from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Horea Pescaru's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Șerban Voica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iulian Vârjean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Pescaru having to interfere. If Șerban Voica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Rapiduletu's Horea Pescaru got control of the ball when Iulian Vârjean tried to sneak it across the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Rapiduletu's goal looked a bit too open when Șerban Voica came free, but Horea Pescaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rapiduletu's Ionică Oroian got a free kick in the 81st minute. Vasile Jurăscu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Murgan having to interfere. In the 89th minute Șerban Voica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Pescaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96thth minute of the game Vasile Jurăscu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laza's Dinu Murgan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laza played a much better game than Rapiduletu and deserved their victory. The Rapiduletu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
