Iurie Cosariu's late challenge caught a Arsache's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iurie Cosariu helped the player get up and apologised. Iulian Codru didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Arsache's Doru Filimon shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. George Hăulică showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florin Nicodim in the 17th minute of the match. Aurelian Tudose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Iulian Codru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cojani CS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Doru Filimon scored to the left of an out of position Iulian Codru, making the score, 2-0. Iurie Cosariu hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Iulian Codru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doru Filimon, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Iordănescu in the 35th minute of play forced Arsache's goalkeeper George Hăulică to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Arsache's Doru Filimon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iulian Codru. That made the score 3-0 after 39 minutes of play. In the 43rd play minute Laurențiu Axinia came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Iulian Codru. 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Arsache's Doru Filimon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iulian Codru. That made the score 5-0 after 48 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ştefan Iordănescu to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when Vali Vârnav put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Arsache fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! Arsache:s George Hăulică showed great skill when he stopped Leonard Soare:s penalty. When Aurelian Tudose came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Arsache fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelian Tudose couldn't finish the play. Aurelian Tudose fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iulian Codru having to interfere. When Aurelian Tudose came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Arsache fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelian Tudose couldn't finish the play. Maxim Berbec struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Iulian Codru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsache. After 69 played minutes Arsache got a freekick which was hit by Maxim Berbec. George Hăulică made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Iordănescu in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Florin Nicodim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cojani CS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florin Nicodim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ştefan Iordănescu came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Cojani CS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ştefan Iordănescu couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Arsache's Mihnea Chivu got a free kick in the 79th minute. Florin Nicodim came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and George Hăulică could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Cojani CS's zone, Aurelian Tudose stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iulian Codru came out of the goal and Aurelian Tudose tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Laurențiu Axinia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Cojani CS's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelian Tudose came free, but Iulian Codru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cojani CS getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Iurie Cosariu hit a great ball. After 94 played minutes Arsache got a freekick which was hit by George Cioiu. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arsache's goalkeeper George Hăulică, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Florin Nicodim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Arsache fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cojani CS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
