But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radu Dan couldn't finish the play. Narcis Lopatnicu hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Ştefan Baltian sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and F.C. Caciulati-Admiral's Ovidiu Burdujan didn't even have to move. If Marcel Oprișan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Oneț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Burdujan having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristi Paraschiv in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidiu Burdujan saved F.C. Caciulati-Admiral from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Colonia CS's Cristi Paraschiv slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ovidiu Burdujan. That made the score 0-2 after 59 minutes of play.
