Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Octavian Rogozanu kicked off to start the match. Costică Ciolpan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Iulian Seţeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iulian Seţeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezar Zogreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Augustin Popoacă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dobolt's Nichifor Răica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavian Rogozanu in the 10th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Santamaria got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Mărăscu. In the 15th minute Costică Ciolpan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iulian Seţeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Costică Ciolpan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iulian Seţeanu was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Costică Ciolpan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iulian Seţeanu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Santamaria's zone, Cezar Zogreanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iulian Seţeanu came out of the goal and Cezar Zogreanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cezar Zogreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcel Mărăscu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Nichifor Răica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nichifor Răica came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Santamaria's Marcel Mărăscu. But to his dismay, Marcel Mărăscu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Iulian Seţeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costică Ciolpan in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Dobolt's goal looked a bit too open when Octavian Rogozanu came free, but Nichifor Răica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Cezar Zogreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iulian Seţeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cezar Zogreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Iulian Seţeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cezar Zogreanu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Octavian Rogozanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nichifor Răica was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Costică Ciolpan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Santamaria's zone, Cezar Zogreanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iulian Seţeanu came out of the goal and Cezar Zogreanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costică Ciolpan got free with Iulian Seţeanu in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Marcel Mărăscu came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Santamaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel Mărăscu couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezar Zogreanu in the 71st minute of play forced Santamaria's goalkeeper Iulian Seţeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Paul Proca shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iulian Seţeanu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Costică Ciolpan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dobolt's supporters rose to their feet, but Costică Ciolpan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iulian Seţeanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cezar Zogreanu hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Santamaria's Iulian Seţeanu got control of the ball when Costică Ciolpan tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Santamaria getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Marcel Jugănaru hit a great ball. Petruț Zamfir kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Nichifor Răica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Mărăscu in the 91st minute of play. Iulian Seţeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezar Zogreanu in the 93rd minute of the match. The Santamaria players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
