With a little luck, Dobolt's Nichifor Răica got control of the ball when Manuel Otețea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eduard Mahonea charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduard Mahonea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Dobolt getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Dan Stolnicu hit a great ball. During the 12th minute of the match Eduard Mahonea completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eduard Mahonea a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 12 played minutes Totoiu CF got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Mahonea. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Ciocârlan in the 15th minute of play forced Totoiu CF's goalkeeper Cazimir Opaina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marius Iorga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Nichifor Răica when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 18 minutes, Sabin Ciocârlan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dobolt and the Totoiu CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Dobolt got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Ciocârlan. When Costică Ciolpan came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Dobolt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costică Ciolpan couldn't finish the play. Marius Iorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Traian Stătescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marius Iorga might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nichifor Răica. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marius Iorga ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Cezar Zogreanu made the kick off in the second half. Marius Iorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 53 minutes, Marius Iorga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Totoiu CF and the Dobolt players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Iorga in the 57th minute of play forced Dobolt's goalkeeper Nichifor Răica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marius Iorga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nichifor Răica having to interfere. Marius Iorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66thth minute of the game Marius Iorga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dobolt's Nichifor Răica was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute, Sabin Ciocârlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nichifor Răica came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Totoiu CF's Marius Iorga. But to his dismay, Marius Iorga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 79 played minutes Dobolt got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Ciocârlan. If Manuel Otețea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augustin Popoacă kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Anton Flamaropol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Totoiu CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Flamaropol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nichifor Răica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marius Iorga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nichifor Răica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horea Zafiu in the 87th minute of play. Totoiu CF's Marius Iorga got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marius Iorga was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Marius Iorga kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costică Ciolpan got free with Cazimir Opaina in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
