Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sever Encuțu kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Bosanceni booed when gcg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionel Pescaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 6 minutes, Damian Encica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bosanceni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Encica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in gcg's zone, Damian Encica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radu Istrate came out of the goal and Damian Encica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the game, one of Bosanceni:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sever Encuțu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Radu Istrate stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sever Encuțu's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Ispirescu in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rareș Varga saved Bosanceni from getting behind. Constantin Avacariței came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rareș Varga could save by the left post. David Ispirescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 35 minutes, Constantin Avacariței managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. gcg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantin Avacariței was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to gcg getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Eugen Crețu hit a great ball. Rareș Varga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Ispirescu in the 42nd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Constantin Avacariței received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rareș Varga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Ispirescu in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rareș Varga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 62 minutes of play, gcg's Constantin Avacariței made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rareș Varga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filip Slavici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Constantin Avacariței made a precise shot to the right of Rareș Varga. Bosanceni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Rareș Varga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Ispirescu in the 82nd minute of the match. Sever Encuțu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radu Istrate read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. David Ispirescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bosanceni players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for gcg.
