Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Iustin Ologu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Petruț Iosifian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavian Rogozanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 16th minute, Marcel Mărăscu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 18th minute Iustin Ologu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iulian Seţeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Santimbru FC's goalkeeper Petruț Iosifian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Petruț Iosifian made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Marcel Mărăscu sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Octavian Rogozanu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Petruț Iosifian. That made the score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. Petruț Iosifian was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Octavian Rogozanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. Octavian Rogozanu struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Petruț Iosifian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santamaria. A collision led to Santimbru FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Virgil Huidu hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Santamaria's Nicu Elefteriu got a free kick in the 44th minute. Iulian Seţeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Calota in the 45th minute of play. Marcel Mărăscu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Iosifian having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octavian Rogozanu was the one to do the kick off. Virgil Huidu kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Petruț Iosifian didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Santamaria's Nicu Elefteriu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 60th minute, Tudor Popa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augustin Calota in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Iulian Seţeanu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Santamaria's Tudor Popa got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute, Marcel Mărăscu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petruț Iosifian was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Octavian Rogozanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petruț Iosifian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Octavian Rogozanu ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcel Mărăscu in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petruț Iosifian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Petruț Iosifian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octavian Rogozanu's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Petruț Iosifian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavian Rogozanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petruț Iosifian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicu Elefteriu in the 87th minute of play. Petruț Iosifian came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Santamaria's Octavian Rogozanu. But to his dismay, Octavian Rogozanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Petrică Mitrea kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When Augustin Calota came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Santimbru FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augustin Calota couldn't finish the play. Santamaria's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
