Spectators: 6642 (Terracing: 5642, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when David Ispirescu kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Totoiu CF booed when gcg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codruț Bran didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute, Anton Flamaropol reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Radu Istrate. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 9th minute, gcg's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marius Iorga fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in gcg's zone, Eduard Mahonea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radu Istrate came out of the goal and Eduard Mahonea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute Marius Iorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Istrate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduard Mahonea struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Radu Istrate didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Totoiu CF. Totoiu CF's Matei Calomfir shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Radu Istrate but with some difficulty. Totoiu CF's Marius Iorga got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marius Iorgas short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Radu Istrate to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marius Iorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Anton Flamaropol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The long shot by Șerban Zorlescu in the 28th minute really tested Radu Istrate's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. gcg's Radu Istrate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Iorga in the 30th minute of play. Eduard Mahonea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radu Istrate having to interfere. After 33 played minutes gcg got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Avacariței. The supporters of gcg booed when Totoiu CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Șerban Zorlescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cazimir Opaina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin Avacariței, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 37 minutes, Ionel Pescaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the gcg and the Totoiu CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to gcg getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ionel Pescaru hit a great ball. If Marius Iorga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Radu Istrate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Iorga in the 38th minute of play. Marius Iorga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Radu Istrate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Eduard Mahonea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Totoiu CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marius Iorga in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radu Istrate saved gcg from getting behind. Radu Istrate stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marius Iorga's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. When Totoiu CF's Eduard Mahonea in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye gcg's goalie prevented a goal. Ciprian Timofte charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciprian Timofte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute, one of gcg:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for gcg. In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Totoiu CF. Anton Flamaropol stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Radu Istrate. 3-0. After 67 played minutes, gcg's Codruț Bran shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cazimir Opaina came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in gcg reached it. Manuel Otețea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eduard Mahonea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 played minutes gcg got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Hirean. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Marius Iorga put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Radu Istrate. Marius Iorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, gcg's Ciprian Timofte got a free kick in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Totoiu CF's Anton Flamaropol broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Horea Zafiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Radu Istrate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anton Flamaropol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Totoiu CF were the better team. Totoiu CF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
