Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Octavian Rogozanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mircea Apostolescu having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Octavian Rogozanu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Mircea Apostolescu to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Ulea's Mircea Costache got a free kick in the 9th minute. Octavian Rogozanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th match minute, Ulea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelu Cretan to maneuver through the defense. Bogdan Orășan's late challenge caught a Ulea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bogdan Orășan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th match minute, Santamaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Orășan to maneuver through the defense. Cristi Budianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iulian Seţeanu having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Mircea Costache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ulea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Moise Sinulescu charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moise Sinulescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Octavian Rogozanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mircea Apostolescu having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavian Rogozanu in the 28th minute of play forced Ulea's goalkeeper Mircea Apostolescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Gioagă hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Marcel Mărăscu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Mircea Apostolescu 33 minutes into the match. Cristi Budianu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Octavian Rogozanu in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mircea Apostolescu saved Ulea from getting behind. After recieving a nice pass, Santamaria's Ion Trăilă tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octavian Rogozanu was the one to do the kick off. Marcel Mărăscu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mircea Apostolescu having to interfere. When Santamaria's Octavian Rogozanu in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ulea's goalie prevented a goal. When Marcel Mărăscu came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Santamaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel Mărăscu couldn't finish the play. Marcel Mărăscu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Mircea Costache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Santamaria's Tudor Popa got a free kick in the 78th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Ulea's Cristi Budianu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iulian Seţeanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mircea Apostolescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Mărăscu in the 92nd minute of the match. Ulea's Mircea Apostolescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavian Rogozanu in the 94th minute of play. Mircea Apostolescu came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Santamaria's Octavian Rogozanu. But to his dismay, Octavian Rogozanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1.
