Marcel Oprișan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Iosifian having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augustin Calota got free with Ovidiu Burdujan in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Petruț Iosifian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Oprișan in the 25th minute of play. Augustin Calota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ovidiu Burdujan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidiu Burdujan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Ologu in the 29th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Paul Floruțiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petruț Iosifian was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 37 minutes into the match, F.C. Caciulati-Admiral's goalkeeper Ovidiu Burdujan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augustin Calota. If Marcel Oprișan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iustin Ologu was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Santimbru FC's Cazimir Iosif got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Santimbru FC's goalkeeper Petruț Iosifian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel Oprișan. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Augustin Calota managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santimbru FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Augustin Calota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidiu Burdujan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to F.C. Caciulati-Admiral getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Paul Hudiță hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iustin Ologu in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidiu Burdujan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paul Hudiță's late challenge caught a Santimbru FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Hudiță helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 played minutes F.C. Caciulati-Admiral got a freekick which was hit by Paul Hudiță. Ovidiu Burdujan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Ologu in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Paul Floruțiu hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. With a little luck, Santimbru FC's Petruț Iosifian got control of the ball when Marcel Oprișan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ovidiu Burdujan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Ologu in the 93rd minute of the match. The F.C. Caciulati-Admiral players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
