The supporters of Totoiu CF booed when Ulea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavril Haidău didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5thth minute of the game Marius Iorga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ulea's Mircea Apostolescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manuel Otețea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mircea Apostolescu stood somewhat misplaced when Marius Iorga came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 10 minute. The audience was convinced that Marius Iorga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mircea Apostolescu was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After having played for 21 minutes, Petruț Vergulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ulea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petruț Vergulescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristi Budianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eduard Mahonea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ulea booed when Totoiu CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Traian Stătescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Totoiu CF's Cazimir Opaina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mircea Costache in the 39th minute of play. Marius Iorga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marius Iorga in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mircea Apostolescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eduard Mahonea hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Mircea Costache managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ulea's supporters rose to their feet, but Mircea Costache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cazimir Opaina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marius Iorga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Ulea defense, Manuel Otețea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mircea Apostolescu. The Ulea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mircea Apostolescu should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marius Iorga in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mircea Apostolescu saved Ulea from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Marius Iorga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61stth minute of the game Marius Iorga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ulea's Mircea Apostolescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 73 played minutes Totoiu CF got a freekick which was hit by Traian Stătescu. Mircea Apostolescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marius Iorga's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Mircea Costache blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cazimir Opaina having to make a save. In the 83rd minute, Eduard Mahonea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Gavril Haidău sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Cazimir Opaina threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Gavril Haidău this time. In the 87th minute, Manuel Otețea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mircea Apostolescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Mircea Apostolescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marius Iorga's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Mircea Apostolescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marius Iorga went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Mircea Apostolescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Iorga, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that Totoiu CF were the better team. Totoiu CF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
