Spectators: 6908 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1756, VIP seats: 152) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Iustin Ologu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Anton Flamaropol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Petruț Iosifian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Marius Iorga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Totoiu CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marius Iorga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manuel Otețea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Santimbru FC's zone, Manuel Otețea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petruț Iosifian came out of the goal and Manuel Otețea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Totoiu CF booed when Santimbru FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cazimir Iosif didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Totoiu CF's Marius Iorga in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santimbru FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 32nd minute Eduard Mahonea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petruț Iosifian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Marius Iorga came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Totoiu CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marius Iorga couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santimbru FC's goalkeeper Petruț Iosifian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Petruț Iosifian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horea Zafiu in the 38th minute of play. Marius Iorga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Iosifian having to interfere. If Manuel Otețea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Totoiu CF's Manuel Otețea got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cazimir Opaina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Calota in the 65th minute of play. Eduard Mahonea hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. A collision led to Totoiu CF getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Șerban Zorlescu hit a great ball. Augustin Calota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Cazimir Opaina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cazimir Opaina came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Santimbru FC's Augustin Calota. But to his dismay, Augustin Calota quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Petruț Iosifian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marius Iorga in the 87th minute. Anton Flamaropol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Iosifian having to interfere. Marius Iorga scored 1-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petruț Iosifian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
