Spectators: 6826 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 100) A collision led to Rivulus CF getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Octavian Marian hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Octavian Marian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Rivulus CF fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Rivulus CF's Octavian Marian looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 26th minute, Matei Tolea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Florin Zgârcu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragonul's supporters rose to their feet, but Florin Zgârcu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Liviu Nandriș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Dragonul:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rivulus CF:s goal. Octavian Marian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manole Hârlab having to interfere. Manole Hârlab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavian Marian in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gheorghe Condescu in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Liviu Nandriș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octavian Marian was the one to do the kick off. Octavian Marian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manole Hârlab having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, one of Dragonul:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Rivulus CF. Ernest Danciu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Manole Hârlab. 3-1. After 63 played minutes Rivulus CF got a freekick which was hit by Emil Găvănescu. After having played for 65 minutes, Gheorghe Condescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dragonul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gheorghe Condescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Rivulus CF's Liviu Nandriș got control of the ball when Gheorghe Condescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Liviu Nandriș made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Gheorghe Condescu sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes into the match, Rivulus CF's goal looked a bit too open when Florin Zgârcu came free, but Liviu Nandriș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavian Marian in the 77th minute of play forced Dragonul's goalkeeper Manole Hârlab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liviu Nandriș made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Gheorghe Condescu sent off a good shot on target. Liviu Nandriș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Tudorache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Octavian Marian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Octavian Marian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manole Hârlab. Dragonul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Octavian Marian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. There was no doubt that Rivulus CF were the better team. Rivulus CF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
