Dumitru Druga hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Păsări Roșii's Valentin Jurcuț got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Cristi Chindriș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ionică Obreja in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silviu Zdrelea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristi Chindriș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornel Beșliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneliu Dejeu in the 36th minute of the match. Ionică Obreja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Silviu Zdrelea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Corneliu Dejeu made the kick off in the second half. Valentin Jurcuț's late challenge caught a Fc Racari's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentin Jurcuț helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Păsări Roșii getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Valentin Jurcuț hit a great ball. Păsări Roșii's Valentin Jurcuț got his second yellow card of the match in the 53rd minute. The referee ordered Valentin Jurcuț off the ground. Nicu Basarab charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicu Basarab the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nicu Basarab kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Fc Racari's goal looked a bit too open when Cristi Chindriș came free, but Silviu Zdrelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fabian Enoaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicu Basarab received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cornel Beșliu came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicu Basarab slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 72nd minute. Cristi Chindriș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ionică Obreja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Racari's zone, Cristi Chindriș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silviu Zdrelea came out of the goal and Cristi Chindriș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristi Chindriș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Silviu Zdrelea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Fc Racari getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Nicu Basarab hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Păsări Roșii fully deserved thier win.
