Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sergiu Filimon kicked off to start the match. Traian Oros was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cezar Vanghelie. 19 minutes into the game, Avram Ioviță cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Petru Rainea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd minute Sergiu Filimon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Traian Oros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ion Bistreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Traian Oros having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sumugiu's zone, Codrin Tăbăcaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petru Rainea came out of the goal and Codrin Tăbăcaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Avram Ioviță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petru Rainea having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sumugiu's Eric Trifu got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Mihăiţă Agrigoroaiei charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihăiţă Agrigoroaiei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mihăiţă Agrigoroaiei hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sumugiu's goalkeeper Petru Rainea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ion Bistreanu in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Traian Oros, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Codrin Tăbăcaru came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Dauluchiol fans jumped to their feet. Ion Bistreanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Traian Oros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ion Bistreanu ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Avram Ioviță was the one to do the kick off. Traian Oros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ion Bistreanu in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Dauluchiol's Codrin Tăbăcaru dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. If Sergiu Filimon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dauluchiol's Traian Oros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Filimon in the 73rd minute of play. If Ion Bistreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avram Ioviță blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petru Rainea having to make a save. Codrin Tăbăcaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Petru Rainea made a huge save. Ion Bistreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 93 minutes, Eric Trifu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sumugiu and the Dauluchiol players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sumugiu's Eric Trifu got a free kick in the 94th minute. Avram Ioviță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petru Rainea having to interfere.
