Spectators: 7468 (Terracing: 5602, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Iurie Rainea got the match started through his kick off. Nechifor Gorgan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 7th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 9 minutes into the match, FC Castelldefels's goalkeeper Gabriel Pumnu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nechifor Gorgan. Vali Tudoran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codrin Arghiroiu in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vasile Popârcea in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Pumnu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes into the game, Codrin Arghiroiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vali Tudoran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nechifor Gorgan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Gabriel Pumnu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Arghiroiu in the 27th minute of play forced FC Girdoaia's goalkeeper Vali Tudoran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Iurie Rainea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vali Tudoran was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 39th minute of the game, Vasile Popârcea landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Flavius Encea kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Nechifor Gorgan in the 43rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. FC Girdoaia's Petru Timofte got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nechifor Gorgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half FC Castelldefels were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Nechifor Gorgan made the kick off in the second half. If Codrin Arghiroiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, FC Castelldefels's Iurie Rainea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. When Flavius Encea was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. Flavius Encea hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Codrin Arghiroiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vali Tudoran was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Dumitru Buzoianu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dumitru Buzoianu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. 82 minutes into the game, Nechifor Gorgan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Gabriel Pumnu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Castelldefels's Petre Darabonț suffered a concussion after 93 minutes and had to leave the field. In the 94th minute, Nechifor Gorgan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
