Vintilă Encica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Vrabie in the 12th minute of the match. After 13 minutes of play, CVUCS POLI's Petruț Bulgar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vintilă Encica was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18thth minute of the game Dumitru Vrabie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Craiova's Vintilă Encica was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dumitru Vrabie in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vintilă Encica saved FC Craiova from getting behind. Costică Frânculescu took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vintilă Encica. Vintilă Encica dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After having played for 26 minutes, Dumitru Vrabie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CVUCS POLI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dumitru Vrabie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd match minute, FC Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiberiu Mihăescu to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC Craiova getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Eduard Onete hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Vrabie in the 38th minute of play forced FC Craiova's goalkeeper Vintilă Encica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Manuel Cupșa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vintilă Encica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44thth minute of the game Dumitru Vrabie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Craiova's Vintilă Encica was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half CVUCS POLI were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiberiu Mihăescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vintilă Encica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dumitru Vrabie's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Vintilă Encica had great luck who in the 62ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Dumitru Vrabie from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Vintilă Encica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costică Frânculescu in the 68th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Dumitru Vrabie managed to get in a good position for a shot. CVUCS POLI's supporters rose to their feet, but Dumitru Vrabie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vintilă Encica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th match minute, FC Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Onete to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the game, Dumitru Vrabie lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Vintilă Encica. Vintilă Encica made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Nechifor Curteanu sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute, Tiberiu Mihăescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CVUCS POLI played a much better game than FC Craiova and deserved their victory. The FC Craiova players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
