Răzvan Petrescu missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 92 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Gelu Creangă right hand side. If Răzvan Giugiuc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Fc. Botosani's zone, Remus Badea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gelu Creangă came out of the goal and Remus Badea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fc. Botosani's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
