The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tudor Tomescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Ichimescu went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Grecescu in the 14th minute of play forced Satucul's goalkeeper Cătălin Gorun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cătălin Gorun was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Cristian Grecescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Grecescu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Cătălin Gorun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Grecescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Satucul's goalkeeper Cătălin Gorun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pavel Lupeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Satucul's zone, Pavel Lupeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cătălin Gorun came out of the goal and Pavel Lupeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 33 played minutes Cristian Grecescu rounded Satucul's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Cristian Grecescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Gorun having to interfere. Silviu Eftimescu struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Tudor Tomescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Satucul. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Grecescu to make the kick off. Cătălin Gorun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Grecescu in the 51st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Grecescu in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cătălin Gorun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pavel Lupeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Netotul getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Emilian Zeciu hit a great ball. Cătălin Gorun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horea Oroian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pavel Lupeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Pavel Lupeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Cristian Grecescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netotul's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Grecescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cătălin Gorun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute, Pavel Lupeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cătălin Gorun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Grecescu went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Silviu Eftimescu charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silviu Eftimescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, Silviu Eftimescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pavel Lupeanu struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Pavel Lupeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cătălin Gorun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Netotul's Pavel Lupeanu got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Netotul were the better team. Netotul's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
