Dumitru Trifu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Miclea's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Gelu Cobâlcescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornel Gurgui having to interfere. Pogon Szczecin's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
