Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcu Nicopol took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Fc. Botosani's Gelu Creangă got control of the ball when Marcu Nicopol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sabin Cozaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelu Creangă having to interfere. The Barsanesti fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Barsanesti's Marcu Nicopol looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fc. Botosani! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcu Nicopol in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gelu Creangă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Marcu Nicopol put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gelu Creangă. In the 18thth minute of the game Marcu Nicopol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc. Botosani's Gelu Creangă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the match Marcu Nicopol climbed in front of goal and pressed up 4-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Gelu Creangă. The supporters of Fc. Botosani booed when Barsanesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Stratulat didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dorel Isăcescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barsanesti's Flavius Țepelea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Giugiuc in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Barsanesti booed when Fc. Botosani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horia Olteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcu Nicopols short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Gelu Creangă to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 32 minutes into the match, Fc. Botosani's goalkeeper Gelu Creangă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcu Nicopol. Gelu Creangă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcu Nicopol in the 36th minute. Sabin Cozaru kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Barsanesti's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Giugiuc came free, but Flavius Țepelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horia Olteanu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Marcu Nicopol fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gelu Creangă, passed just outside the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cătălin Stoicescu made a kick off. When Marcu Nicopol came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Barsanesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcu Nicopol couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Stratulat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gelu Creangă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. After 58th play minutes Marcu Nicopol shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Gelu Creangă and just under the crossbar into goal. Răzvan Giugiuc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Flavius Țepelea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Fc. Botosani got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Ghioane. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Marcu Nicopol sped through Fc. Botosani's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gelu Creangă. 76 minutes into the game, Marcu Nicopol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Gelu Creangă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Filip Dragota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelu Creangă having to interfere. Flavius Țepelea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cătălin Stoicescu in the 82nd minute of play. When Barsanesti's Marcu Nicopol in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fc. Martin Udup scored 9-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gelu Creangă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gelu Creangă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcu Nicopol, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Cristinel Ghioane kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95thth minute of the game Marcu Nicopol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc. Botosani's Gelu Creangă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Barsanesti's Filip Dragota in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fc. Botosani's goalie prevented a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Barsanesti fully deserved thier win.
