Spectators: 7374 (Terracing: 5642, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 2) Bolintin United's Lucian Amurăriței started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lucian Amurăriței sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucian Amurăriței's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viorel Nedelea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Viorel Nedelea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nichifor Horodincă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Dumitru Tiberian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lucian Amurăriței came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Bolintin United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucian Amurăriței couldn't finish the play. Lucian Amurăriței fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viorel Nedelea having to interfere. Luca Şimonca might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florin Goșa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luca Şimonca ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcel Mateianu in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florin Goșa saved Bolintin United from getting behind. Dacian Bobailă kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Viorel Nedelea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucian Amurăriței in the 34th minute of the match. When Bolintin United's Lucian Amurăriței in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Haidaru's goalie prevented a goal. Lucian Amurăriței recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florin Goșa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luca Şimonca showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 41 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcel Mateianu was the one to do the kick off. If Marcel Mateianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luca Şimonca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Goșa having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Sever Bălășescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florin Goșa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Mateianu in the 61st minute of the match. Florin Goșa came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Haidaru's Luca Şimonca. But to his dismay, Luca Şimonca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Nichifor Horodincă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Bolintin United booed when Haidaru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viorel Marica didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Lucian Amurăriței recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Viorel Nedelea. Lucian Amurăriței showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. When Sever Bălășescu fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolintin United's protests and gave Sever Bălășescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th minute, Lucian Amurăriței got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haidaru's Viorel Nedelea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Amurăriței in the 97th minute of play. Bolintin United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
