After 18 minutes of play, Seatbelt FC's Gabriel Gorun made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandru Grădinaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Ionuț Bujor sped through Fc. Rapid 1923's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alexandru Grădinaru. An unexpectedly hard shot by Șerban Pavel in the 29th minute of play forced Seatbelt FC's goalkeeper Denis Bogătan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ionuț Bujor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Alexandru Grădinaru skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Horaţiu Mălăncioiu fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc. Rapid 1923's protests and gave Horaţiu Mălăncioiu a yellow card for diving instead. Horaţiu Mălăncioiu hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Gabriel Gorun might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandru Grădinaru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
