Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After 9 played minutes Bolintin United got a freekick which was hit by Sever Bălășescu. Viorel Senin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucian Amurăriței in the 13th minute of play. Valer Coman hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute of the match Grigore Potopea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viorel Senin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Lucian Amurăriței had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iustin Macovei scored 2-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florin Goșa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Dan Barbăsură fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CIP Media's protests and gave Dan Barbăsură a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 minutes, Viorel Bârsan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolintin United and the CIP Media players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Iustin Macovei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viorel Senin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucian Amurăriței, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florin Goșa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurențiu Abutnăriței, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Iustin Macovei was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 32nd minute. CIP Media's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 34 minutes into the match, Bolintin United's goal looked a bit too open when Laurențiu Abutnăriței came free, but Florin Goșa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Laurențiu Abutnăriței got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iustin Macovei got free with Florin Goșa in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laurențiu Abutnăriței stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Iustin Macovei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bolintin United's Florin Goșa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Macovei in the 56th minute of play. After some careless play in the Bolintin United defense, Iustin Macovei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florin Goșa. The Bolintin United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florin Goșa should have stopped the shot. Laurențiu Abutnăriței fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Goșa having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Iustin Macovei managed to get in a good position for a shot. CIP Media's supporters rose to their feet, but Iustin Macovei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florin Goșa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Macovei in the 79th minute of play forced Bolintin United's goalkeeper Florin Goșa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Laurențiu Abutnăriței notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Bolintin United's Florin Goșa. Florin Goșa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Laurențiu Abutnăriței received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute.
