After a rather tough play, STEAUA86's Florentino Vargas got a free kick in the 6th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florentino Vargas during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Sinulescu in the 11th minute of play forced STEAUA86's goalkeeper Serafin Vellito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florentino Vargas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ilie Bântu in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Serafin Vellito, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Serafin Vellito made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Ilie Bântu sent off a good shot on target. After 22 played minutes STEAUA86 got a freekick which was hit by Cazimir Enciu. After having played for 23 minutes, Ilie Bântu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JuVeNtuS AleXaNdRia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilie Bântu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, STEAUA86's goal looked a bit too open when David Sinulescu came free, but Serafin Vellito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, David Sinulescu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Serafin Vellito to make any attempt to save it. David Sinulescu scored 2-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serafin Vellito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ilie Bântu in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Serafin Vellito, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 37th match minute, STEAUA86 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Dobrotă to maneuver through the defense. Serafin Vellito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilie Bântu in the 39th minute. Segundo Orlandus lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Segundo Orlandus kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. STEAUA86's Serafin Vellito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save STEAUA86 from getting a goal against them. Serafin Vellito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Sinulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, STEAUA86's goalkeeper Serafin Vellito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ilie Bântu. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Sinulescu to make the kick off. Petrică Juverdeanu made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by STEAUA86's Emanuel Dobrotă. Florentino Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. David Sinulescu took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafin Vellito. Serafin Vellito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If David Sinulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florentino Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Zamfir having to interfere. A collision led to JuVeNtuS AleXaNdRia getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Mihail Maftei hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. JuVeNtuS AleXaNdRia fully deserved thier win.
