In the 25th minute, Eliodor Jecu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eliodor Jecu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corneliu Onișoru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliodor Jecu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Cazimir Panaiteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodor Vaida in the 42nd minute of the match. Cătălin Cangeopol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Cazimir Panaiteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sever Gorgan was the one to do the kick off. Panait Cândea kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Cătălin Cangeopol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cazimir Panaiteanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodor Vaida's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 66th match minute, Mezomojos CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cătălin Cangeopol to maneuver through the defense. STEAUA86's Cazimir Panaiteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Vaida in the 73rd minute of play. Cazimir Panaiteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cătălin Cangeopol in the 75th minute of the match. After some careless play in the STEAUA86 defense, Teodor Vaida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cazimir Panaiteanu. The STEAUA86 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cazimir Panaiteanu should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute Sever Gorgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Onișoru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Teodor Vaida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cătălin Cangeopol in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cazimir Panaiteanu saved STEAUA86 from getting behind. Mezomojos CS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of STEAUA86 for a fine match.
