Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) CIP Media's Laurențiu Abutnăriței started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, CsMotru's goal looked a bit too open when Laurențiu Abutnăriței came free, but Narcis Ispas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Barbăsură hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Fabian Butnaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CsMotru's Narcis Ispas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save CsMotru from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laurențiu Abutnăriței in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narcis Ispas saved CsMotru from getting behind. CsMotru's Narcis Ispas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurențiu Abutnăriței in the 22nd minute of play. Iustin Macovei scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Narcis Ispas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Damian Dumitrachescu came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the CsMotru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Dumitrachescu couldn't finish the play. During the 28th minute of the match Dan Barbăsură completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dan Barbăsură a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 35 minutes into the match, CsMotru's goalkeeper Narcis Ispas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iustin Macovei. When Emanuel Loga fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CIP Media's protests and gave Emanuel Loga a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes CIP Media got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Loga. Francisc Mutu, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. CIP Media's Viorel Senin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Butnaru in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Damian Dumitrachescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Viorel Senin. The goal made the score 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Dumitrachescu in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viorel Senin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Damian Dumitrachescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th match minute, CsMotru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iordache Bocșan to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Valer Coman managed to get in a good position for a shot. CIP Media's supporters rose to their feet, but Valer Coman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narcis Ispas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 69 played minutes CsMotru got a freekick which was hit by Damian Dumitrachescu. Valer Coman hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, CsMotru's Fabian Butnaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viorel Senin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, CIP Media's goalkeeper Viorel Senin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Butnaru. Viorel Senin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Dumitrachescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurențiu Abutnăriței kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Damian Dumitrachescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Emanuel Loga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Narcis Ispas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th minute, Fabian Butnaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabian Butnaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CIP Media were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of CsMotru for a fine match.
