The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If David Sinulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. Viorel Nedelea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nae Hulubei in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute JuVeNtuS AleXaNdRia were awarded a corner. Nae Hulubei went to the cornerflag to take it. Nae Hulubei made a great header on JuVeNtuS AleXaNdRia's corner, it was just that Haidaru's Viorel Nedelea managed to reach the ball for a save. If David Sinulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viorel Nedelea didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when JuVeNtuS AleXaNdRia's Ilie Bântu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. David Sinulescu scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Viorel Nedelea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dumitru Tiberian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Zamfir having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Sinulescu in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viorel Nedelea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Haidaru's goalkeeper Viorel Nedelea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ilie Bântu in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viorel Nedelea saved Haidaru from getting behind. Mihail Maftei scored 0-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Viorel Nedelea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luca Şimonca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Horaţiu Zamfir made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Sinulescu in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viorel Nedelea saved Haidaru from getting behind. 36 minutes into the game, Viorel Marica was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haidaru's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JuVeNtuS AleXaNdRia the free kick. In the 40th minute, David Sinulescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Viorel Nedelea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The Haidaru players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. JuVeNtuS AleXaNdRia were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Sinulescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Haidaru's goal looked a bit too open when David Sinulescu came free, but Viorel Nedelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haidaru's Luca Şimonca got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ilie Bântu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Viorel Nedelea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Nae Hulubei notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Haidaru's Viorel Nedelea. Viorel Nedelea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ilie Bântu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Viorel Nedelea made a huge save. Nae Hulubei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When David Sinulescu came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the JuVeNtuS AleXaNdRia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Sinulescu couldn't finish the play. Ilie Bântu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Viorel Nedelea made a huge save. In the 78thth minute of the game David Sinulescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Haidaru's Viorel Nedelea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ilie Bântu might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Viorel Nedelea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ilie Bântu ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Sinulescu in the 86th minute of play forced Haidaru's goalkeeper Viorel Nedelea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viorel Nedelea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ilie Bântu went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. After 96 minutes of play, JuVeNtuS AleXaNdRia's Ilie Bântu made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viorel Nedelea was left in no man's land by his defense there! JuVeNtuS AleXaNdRia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
