When Sorin Pavel came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Green Eagles FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sorin Pavel couldn't finish the play. If Leontin Ogică had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Sorin Pavel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Green Eagles FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sorin Pavel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cazimir Panaiteanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the match, STEAUA86's goal looked a bit too open when Leontin Ogică came free, but Cazimir Panaiteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sever Gorgan charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sever Gorgan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 89 played minutes STEAUA86 got a freekick which was hit by Sever Gorgan. Sorin Pavel in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cazimir Panaiteanu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 93 minutes into the match, STEAUA86's goalkeeper Cazimir Panaiteanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sorin Pavel. Leontin Ogică struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Cazimir Panaiteanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Green Eagles FC. Green Eagles FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
