The supporters of STEAUA86 booed when Bolintin United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucian Amurăriței didn't get a good kick on the ball. STEAUA86's Cazimir Panaiteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Amurăriței in the 40th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Olimpiu Mușetescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Grigore Potopea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to STEAUA86 getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Iosif Radu hit a great ball. 0-1 became the score in the 94th minute when Nichifor Horodincă elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bolintin United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
