Traian Nițisor came out of the goal and Adrian Horațiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Liviu Cornea came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Ripensia UVT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liviu Cornea couldn't finish the play. Mihai Huțupan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barbosu FC's Dacian Leu pulled a muscle in his back after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olimpiu Chesaru during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ripensia UVT! Traian Nițisor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihai Huțupan, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Adrian Horațiu came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Barbosu FC fans jumped to their feet. In the 88th minute, Adrian Horațiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mihai Huțupan might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Traian Nițisor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mihai Huțupan ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 92 minutes, Adrian Horațiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barbosu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Horațiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Mihai Huțupan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Traian Nițisor was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Costică Costea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Traian Nițisor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. After having played for 98 minutes, Adrian Horațiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barbosu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Horațiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Barbosu FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
