Emil Brânza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Bara in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ripensia Timisoara's zone, Călin Lucănescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 温荣建 came out of the goal and Călin Lucănescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gheorghe Boerescu struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. 温荣建 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CF GLORIA BISTRITA 1922. CF GLORIA BISTRITA 1922's Gheorghe Boerescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 温荣建 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. CF GLORIA BISTRITA 1922's Gheorghe Boerescu got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gheorghe Boerescu to make the kick off. In the 90th minute Gheorghe Boerescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 温荣建 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
