In the 2nd minute, Liviu Cornea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC Malina booed when Ripensia UVT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olimpiu Chesaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosmin Rednic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Traian Nițisor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Traian Nițisor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cosmin Rednic's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Liviu Cornea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Costel Arseanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, FC Malina's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Cornea came free, but Costel Arseanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liviu Cornea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costel Arseanu having to interfere. Costel Arseanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Cornea, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Costel Arseanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Cercelescu in the 24th minute of play. FC Malina's Costel Arseanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toader Leucuța in the 28th minute of play. Liviu Cornea took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Costel Arseanu. Costel Arseanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 36 minutes into the match, FC Malina's goal looked a bit too open when Toader Leucuța came free, but Costel Arseanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toader Leucuța fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costel Arseanu having to interfere. Liviu Cornea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toader Leucuța fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costel Arseanu having to interfere. The FC Malina players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ripensia UVT were winning 0-1.

Horaţiu Brezoi got in the 53rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Traian Nițisor handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FC Malina's zone, Toader Leucuța stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Costel Arseanu came out of the goal and Toader Leucuța tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Malina's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Liviu Cornea scored to the left of an out of position Costel Arseanu, making the score, 0-2. In the 64th minute, Liviu Cornea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Costel Arseanu. The goal made the score 0-3. Traian Nițisor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Brezoi in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosmin Rednic in the 76th minute of play forced Ripensia UVT's goalkeeper Traian Nițisor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toader Leucuța fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costel Arseanu having to interfere. Toader Leucuțas short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Costel Arseanu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Horaţiu Brezoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Traian Nițisor having to interfere. Horaţiu Brezoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosmin Rednic in the 92nd minute of play forced Ripensia UVT's goalkeeper Traian Nițisor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ripensia UVT's Traian Nițisor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosmin Rednic in the 98th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ripensia UVT eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
