Marcu Ponor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Irinel Iliescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernest Turcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ertunç Önateş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Vintilă Bucataru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ghost Team 2007's attack was well implemented in the 32nd minute, but when Marcu Ponor was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Ernest Turcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ertunç Önateş having to interfere. Irinel Iliescu scored 1-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelian Manu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aurelian Manu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcu Ponor in the 46th minute. Irinel Iliescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Aurelian Manu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

In the 54th minute, Marcu Ponor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute, Marcu Ponor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ghost Team 2007 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The supporters of Basca booed when Ghost Team 2007 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Teofil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernest Turcan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Ertunç Önateş when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irinel Iliescu in the 61st minute of play forced Basca's goalkeeper Aurelian Manu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Cristi Boroneanț was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Basca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ghost Team 2007 the free kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ghost Team 2007 fully deserved thier win.
