Spectators: 5407 (Terracing: 4300, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 7) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pompiliu Spiridon made the kick off which started today's match. Pompiliu Spiridon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Pompiliu Spiridon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moise Ghionea. Caraaci FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pompiliu Spiridon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Robert Martinaș managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. SOFYA's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Martinaș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moise Ghionea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 15 minutes into the game, one of F.C. SOFYA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Caraaci FC. Gigi Mazăre stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ciprian Burtescu. 1-1. After 26 played minutes F.C. SOFYA got a freekick which was hit by Pompiliu Spiridon. 29 minutes into the match, F.C. SOFYA's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Popan came free, but Ciprian Burtescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Dinu Morovan managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. SOFYA's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinu Morovan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moise Ghionea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pompiliu Spiridon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pompiliu Spiridon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moise Ghionea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to Caraaci FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Pavel Bulzan hit a great ball. Pompiliu Spiridon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Moise Ghionea skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ştefan Popan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, George Cucerzan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes Caraaci FC got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Bulzan. In the 75th minute of the game, Dinu Morovan landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Gigi Mazăre's late challenge caught a F.C. SOFYA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gigi Mazăre helped the player get up and apologised. F.C. SOFYA made a substitution. Basarab Radu replaced Dinu Morovan. The supporters of F.C. SOFYA booed when Caraaci FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigi Mazăre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moise Ghionea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pompiliu Spiridon, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Eugen Bodiu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ciprian Burtescu. Eugen Bodiu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Paul Ailioaiei charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paul Ailioaiei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Caraaci FC booed when F.C. SOFYA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Ailioaiei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciprian Burtescu made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Horea Tudoran sent off a good shot on target. After 93 minutes, Cristinel Uncheşelu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. SOFYA and the Caraaci FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes F.C. SOFYA got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Uncheşelu. Caraaci FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
