The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, F.C. Costică Petculescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Nae Ioviță succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 31st playminute. With a little luck, F.C. SOFYA's Ciprian Burtescu got control of the ball when Nae Ioviță tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompiliu Spiridon in the 36th minute of play forced Cosbuc UFC's goalkeeper Costică Petculescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to F.C. SOFYA getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Matei Mitescu hit a great ball. In the 41st minute Iulian Bocșa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Burtescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciprian Burtescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Bocșa in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to F.C. SOFYA getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. George Cucerzan hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iulian Bocșa was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Nae Ioviță had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciprian Burtescu. F.C. SOFYA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nae Ioviță was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 54 minutes into the game, Pompiliu Spiridon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. SOFYA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cosbuc UFC the free kick. In the 54th minute, Pompiliu Spiridon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciprian Burtescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toader Raicu in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Iulian Bocșa made a precise shot to the right of Ciprian Burtescu. F.C. SOFYA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Ciprian Burtescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sandu Bâlea went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Nae Ioviță kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, F.C. SOFYA's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Bocșa came free, but Ciprian Burtescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Iulian Bocșa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciprian Burtescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. 83 minutes into the match, Iulian Bocșa notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of F.C. SOFYA's Ciprian Burtescu. Ciprian Burtescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Cosbuc UFC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Alexandru Armeanca hit a great ball. Cosbuc UFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
