The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doru Ciutacu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, F.C. SOFYA's Basarab Radu was substituted for Pompiliu Spiridon. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Chelsea din Banat:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of F.C. SOFYA:s goal. Răzvan Frențiu shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
