Aurelian Chitimia might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dorin Chiriac. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aurelian Chitimia ran back to his position shaking his head. After 18 minutes FK Partizan's goalkeeper Dorin Chiriac managed, with a little bit of luck, save Eduard Teodor's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. After 18 minutes of play, Norby FC TEAM's Eduard Teodor made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorin Chiriac was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Norby FC TEAM booed when FK Partizan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigore Goga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avram Căliman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Emanuel Georgescu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Norby FC TEAM's Mircea Goma didn't even have to move. Felix Babeș charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Babeș the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th match minute, Norby FC TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Babeș to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Avram Căliman in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorin Chiriac prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mircea Goma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigore Piț in the 37th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Norby FC TEAM:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FK Partizan:s goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Grigore Goga to make the kick off. Aurelian Chitimia struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Dorin Chiriac didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Norby FC TEAM. Avram Căliman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Dorin Chiriac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Pavel Raicu in the 65th minute really tested Mircea Goma's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 67 minutes in the game, Grigore Goga fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mircea Goma having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigore Goga in the 69th minute of play forced Norby FC TEAM's goalkeeper Mircea Goma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Norby FC TEAM fans cheered their team off the field, for while FK Partizan had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
