In the 12th minute Răzvan Horhoianu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Muncelean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurențiu Panciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Dragoslaveni's goal looked a bit too open when Toader Dan came free, but Matei Varga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AC Milan's Calistrat Muncelean proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save AC Milan from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the game, AC Milan's Octavian Voinescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matei Varga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Octavian Voinescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ciprian Pârlea hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The supporters of Dragoslaveni booed when AC Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toader Dan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Răzvan Horhoianu put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Calistrat Muncelean. 69 minutes into the game, Leonard Râmniceanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Milan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dragoslaveni the free kick. After 72 played minutes Dragoslaveni got a freekick which was hit by Ilie Uncuţă. A hard shot by Tudor Ciutacu from long distance, 73 minutes into the match, got Matei Varga's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavian Voinescu in the 74th minute of play forced Dragoslaveni's goalkeeper Matei Varga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurențiu Panciu struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Calistrat Muncelean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dragoslaveni. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Petre Sălcudeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragoslaveni's supporters rose to their feet, but Petre Sălcudeanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calistrat Muncelean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Calistrat Muncelean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandru Trăistaru in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute Laurențiu Panciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Muncelean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dragoslaveni's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Octavian Voinescu scored to the left of an out of position Matei Varga, making the score, 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AC Milan eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
