Șerban Mălin's late challenge caught a ACSMU Poli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Șerban Mălin helped the player get up and apologised. Șerban Mălin kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. With his leg Emanuel Teleagă managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when ACSMU Poli's Dumitru Ficsinescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Romeo Rucăreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Șerban Mălin in the 20th minute of play. When Aurelian Guguianu fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Protopopesti UFC's protests and gave Aurelian Guguianu a yellow card for diving instead. Aurelian Guguianu hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Dumitru Ficsinescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Emanuel Teleagă made a huge save. Manole Isvoreanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Teleagă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Protopopesti UFC's Emanuel Teleagă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Chindriș in the 28th minute of play. Dumitru Ficsinescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ACSMU Poli's Dumitru Ficsinescu got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dumitru Ficsinescu in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emanuel Teleagă, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Manole Isvoreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valeriu Cucerdean to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Dumitru Ficsinescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Protopopesti UFC's Emanuel Teleagă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dumitru Ficsinescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Teleagă having to interfere. ACSMU Poli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manole Isvoreanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ACSMU Poli had played much better football throughout.
