Spectators: 7267 (Terracing: 5642, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) In the 4th minute, Manole Uzuneanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in ACSMU Poli's zone, Dumitru Văcărescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Rucăreanu came out of the goal and Dumitru Văcărescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexandru Zotincă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romeo Rucăreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Izbașa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ACSMU Poli's Romeo Rucăreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Văcărescu in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ACSMU Poli's Ferdinand Stoleru got a free kick in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Stoleru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ACSMU Poli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rafinăria Dărmănești the free kick. The supporters of Rafinăria Dărmănești booed when ACSMU Poli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Stoleru didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, ACSMU Poli's Manole Uzuneanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Miniș narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Ficsinescu in the 30th minute of play forced Rafinăria Dărmănești's goalkeeper Edgar Miniș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd match minute, ACSMU Poli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliodor Foltea to maneuver through the defense. Ferdinand Stoleru hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Rafinăria Dărmănești's Calistrat Panait couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ACSMU Poli. The audience was convinced that Dumitru Ficsinescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Miniș was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. 45 minutes into the match, Manole Uzuneanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Miniș. Rafinăria Dărmănești's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manole Uzuneanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dumitru Văcărescu made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, ACSMU Poli's Dumitru Ficsinescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Miniș narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Dragoş Iordan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Miniș was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 66 minutes into the game, ACSMU Poli's Manole Isvoreanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgar Miniș made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Dumitru Ficsinescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Miniș. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dumitru Ficsinescu ran back to his position shaking his head. ACSMU Poli's Dumitru Ficsinescu got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manole Uzuneanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Edgar Miniș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Izbașa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferdinand Stoleru kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ACSMU Poli's Dragoş Iordan got a free kick in the 84th minute. If Victor Izbașa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dumitru Ficsinescu struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Edgar Miniș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ACSMU Poli. In the 92nd match minute, Rafinăria Dărmănești was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Pânzaru to maneuver through the defense. ACSMU Poli's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
