With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stelian Andreescu in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornel Tiberiu saved Pereveciori from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, Cioroboreni's goal looked a bit too open when Sabin Isăceanu came free, but Nae Bucurescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nae Bucurescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horea Andriescu in the 43rd minute of play. In the 48th minute, Petru Dabija fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.

The wind increased when Dinu Geoană made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Cioroboreni getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Horea Baldovin hit a great ball. Petru Dabija recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dinu Geoană sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
