Spectators: 7497 (Terracing: 5692, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 60) Dorel Zoreanu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Isaicu in the 3rd minute of play forced Tarsa's goalkeeper Damian Pătrășconiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Tarsa's Rareș Elefteriu threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ernest Paulică, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tarsa's Damian Pătrășconiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorel Zoreanu in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute Ernest Paulică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rareș Elefteriu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Antipa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Rareș Elefteriu made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, Miorica's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Paulică came free, but Rareș Elefteriu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogdan Antipa struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Rareș Elefteriu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tarsa. After 22 minutes, Marian Isaicu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miorica and the Tarsa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marian Isaicu hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Silviu Horia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rareș Elefteriu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute, Tarsa's Ernest Paulică ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rareș Elefteriu. Rareș Elefteriu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Dorel Zoreanu scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damian Pătrășconiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aurelian Dedu's late challenge caught a Miorica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelian Dedu helped the player get up and apologised. Aurelian Dedu kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, Tarsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelian Dedu to maneuver through the defense. Bogdan Antipa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernest Paulică to strike the kick off in the second half. If Claudiu Zota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. When the referee ended the match the Tarsa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
