Gigi Manciulea charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gigi Manciulea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Nichifor Plopeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, one of MARASTI FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ferdinand Schipor walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Los Pollos Hermanos ★DAC★ were furious when Isac Angheluță was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Los Pollos Hermanos ★DAC★ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Tripon in the 27th minute of play forced Los Pollos Hermanos ★DAC★'s goalkeeper Manuel Preda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gigel Tripon to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Los Pollos Hermanos ★DAC★'s Corneliu Buteanu got a free kick in the 51st minute. Gheorghe Măliță struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Manuel Preda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MARASTI FC. Manuel Preda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Tripon in the 54th minute of the match. Gigel Tripon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gigi Manciulea hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Gheorghe Măliță took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manuel Preda. Los Pollos Hermanos ★DAC★'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gigel Tripon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Preda having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in MARASTI FC's zone, Gigel Vintilescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Ceaușu came out of the goal and Gigel Vintilescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Nichifor Plopeanu came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the MARASTI FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nichifor Plopeanu couldn't finish the play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Los Pollos Hermanos ★DAC★ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 74 minutes, MARASTI FC's Gheorghe Măliță got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Manuel Preda. Gigel Tripon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in MARASTI FC's zone, Gigel Vintilescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Ceaușu came out of the goal and Gigel Vintilescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Gigi Manciulea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Gigel Tripon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Preda. That made the score 0-3 in the 86 minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Gigel Tripon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Manuel Preda, 0-4. The supporters of MARASTI FC booed when Los Pollos Hermanos ★DAC★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciprian Covaliu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MARASTI FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
