Claudiu Agrigoroaiei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Dică went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Dică in the 16th minute of play forced Lotasi AC's goalkeeper Claudiu Agrigoroaiei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudiu Agrigoroaiei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Dică, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Costin Marincean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Dică fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudiu Agrigoroaiei having to interfere. Ivan Dică scored 0-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudiu Agrigoroaiei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Costin Marincean's late challenge caught a Lotasi AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costin Marincean helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lotasi AC booed when Oltenasii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costin Marincean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oltenasii's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Mihnea Mereuță scored to the left of an out of position Cazimir Gheară, making the score, 1-3. After some careless play in the Lotasi AC defense, Olimpiu Praporgescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudiu Agrigoroaiei. The Lotasi AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudiu Agrigoroaiei should have stopped the shot. Cazimir Gheară took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihnea Mereuță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Ivan Dică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudiu Agrigoroaiei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Oltenasii were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Costin Marincean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Dică took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudiu Agrigoroaiei. Claudiu Agrigoroaiei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. 56 minutes into the match, Ivan Dică had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudiu Agrigoroaiei. Lotasi AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Dică was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Costin Marincean kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Oltenasii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leontin Râznicu to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute Leonard Câmpeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cazimir Gheară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Lotasi AC's Claudiu Agrigoroaiei got control of the ball when Ivan Dică tried to sneak it across the goal line. Costin Marincean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Oltenasii's Ivan Dică nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudiu Agrigoroaiei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-8. Lotasi AC's Claudiu Agrigoroaiei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Lotasi AC from getting a goal against them. Mihai Orădan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Claudiu Agrigoroaiei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lotasi AC's Claudiu Agrigoroaiei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Lotasi AC from getting a goal against them. Ivan Dică blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudiu Agrigoroaiei having to make a save.
