In the 17th minute Bogdan Dedu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Slătineanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paul Slătineanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Arnăuțescu in the 18th minute of the match. Emilian Fărcașu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 20th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Cocioc SC's zone, Emilian Fărcașu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergiu Rădescu came out of the goal and Emilian Fărcașu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Cocioc SC booed when Hust SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iosif Drâmbă didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Sergiu Rădescu managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Hust SC's Emilian Fărcașu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cocioc SC's Sergiu Rădescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iurie Bouleanu in the 37th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Cocioc SC's goalkeeper Sergiu Rădescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilian Fărcașu. Emilian Fărcașu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Sergiu Rădescu made a huge save. A hard shot 48 in the game by Emilian Fărcașu from a close distance when the talented Sergiu Rădescu managed to make a qualified save. Cocioc SC's players were relieved. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilian Fărcașu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bogdan Dedu struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergiu Rădescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sergiu Rădescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilian Fărcașu, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cocioc SC's zone, Oğuz Tuyuğ stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergiu Rădescu came out of the goal and Oğuz Tuyuğ tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Oğuz Tuyuğ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
