Spectators: 6734 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emilian Fărcașu started the match with the kick off. Cocioc SC's Sergiu Rădescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilian Fărcașu in the 3rd minute of play. After having played for 4 minutes, Emilian Fărcașu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hust SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilian Fărcașu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hust SC's Emilian Fărcașu got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Cocioc SC booed when Hust SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oğuz Tuyuğ didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Costescu struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Paul Slătineanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cocioc SC. Dorel Mardarescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Slătineanu having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Iosif Drâmbă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the game, Dorel Mardarescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Paul Slătineanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cocioc SC's Sergiu Rădescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilian Fărcașu in the 35th minute of play. Paul Slătineanu made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Emanuel Arnăuțescu sent off a good shot on target. Dorel Mardarescu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Emanuel Arnăuțescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dorel Mardarescu made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Cocioc SC's goalkeeper Sergiu Rădescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilian Fărcașu. Emilian Fărcașu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Sergiu Rădescu made a huge save. In the 57th match minute, Cocioc SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Dedu to maneuver through the defense. Emilian Fărcașu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Sergiu Rădescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 66 minutes of play, Hust SC's Emilian Fărcașu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sergiu Rădescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Dorel Mardarescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilian Fărcașu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Sergiu Rădescu made a huge save. Iosif Drâmbă hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oğuz Tuyuğ during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hust SC's Oğuz Tuyuğ got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Emilian Fărcașu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The Cocioc SC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hust SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Hust SC.
